Consumerism Reimagined.

Australian-based Thankyou is a design-led social enterprise led by the purpose to reimagine consumerism and redirect trillions of dollars of profit from consumer spending toward eradicating poverty. A revolution.

This “Consumerism Reimagined” project serves as a movement to change our consumer culture. It emerges as a bold response to the status quo, advocating for mindful consumption that aligns with positive impact. In a realm dominated by disposable trends, this initiative challenges the notion of conventional consumerism, envisioning a future where purchasing choices are catalysts for change. 

This project underscores Thankyou’s commitment to authenticity. The imperfect circle in their logo signifies humanity’s imperfection—a powerful reminder that change often begins with embracing our flaws. Through their design-led approach, Thankyou weaves purpose into every facet, resulting in products that echo a narrative of hope, responsibility, and progress. 

Design led:
The design-led project redefines the relationship between consumers and products. By introducing concepts like the “Forever Bottle” and sustainable refill systems, Thankyou redefines the relationship between consumers and products, and invites individuals to engage in a cycle of longevity and sustainability. The form, the material and the system invite you to engage for good.

Thankyou are clear; never use a good cause to sell an average product. Marx delivered an award-winning brand, form and system but a larger team developed the high-end products we will all love to use.

Each refill, and each conscious choice becomes a vote for a more sustainable and equitable world. The Forever Bottles are no ordinary bottles - coming in four timeless finishes to fit into every environment.

Rewrite the script:
Our vision for the range was to be iconic and distinctive. Removing as much noise as possible focusing on materials rather than colour, to ensure the design would not date over time. Thankyou’s “Reimagine Consumerism” project is to rewrite the script of consumerism. It’s a call to question, to challenge, and to choose thoughtfully. The idea that a purchase can be more than a transaction—it can be an investment in a brighter future for all.

Crafted by Marx, the Thankyou brand embodies a narrative reflected even in its brand identity, “The Imperfect Circle”. This mark challenges the notion of perfection, encapsulating Thankyou’s essence and commitment to excellence despite human limitations. The circle’s evolving size signifies global challenges, while its smallest form resembles a pebble—potent against giants.

Led with design, innovation, and sustainability, Thankyou’s refillable bottle range is a design that redefines the way we experience personal care. With the Forever Bottles, it’s no ordinary bottle.

Refill System

We designed the refill system using high-value recyclable natural HDPE. This bottle is also made from 100% recycled materials and is 100% recyclable. The refill system comes in 1L, 3L and 5L utilitarian style jerry cans with debossed product names to help when stacked in your cupboard.
