Master coffee brand leaves the complexity in the cup
Coffee Supreme is a New Zealand coffee institution with a passionate international following. The Supreme logo is a mark of recognition and excellence in cafes all over the world. However, along the way things had become too complicated, the warehouse overwhelmed by varieties and packaging options. Supreme approached us for a design-led solution to simplify their range and add some subtle brand tweaks in the process.
It needed to work across both Wholesale and Retail elements of the business so functionality was key. We experimented with form and settled on one pack shape with four sizes. Limited varieties are defined in metallic gold to denote the premium product; other blends keep the iconic Supreme logo in brilliant red. To further distinguish different blends we developed colour coded wraps to slip effortlessly over the centre of the coffee pack, a simple solution that cut down the need for complex packaging. The end result is a packaging refresh which brings a sense of order and clarity to help a thriving brand on their path to growth.
